Enrollment and Community Relations Officer

Your new School

Located in Pymble Sydney, Northside Montessori school is a well-established and regarded Montessori School which caters for students from early childhood to Year 6. The school follows an authentic Montessori educational approach, centered on understanding and meeting the needs of the individual child. The school instils in children a love of learning, a sense of wonder and develops each individual child’s confidence and independent learning skills.

This vibrant school community is looking to employ an Enrolments and Community Relations officer who will work with parents and staff to promote the opportunities and values that Montessori education provides.

Your new role

This role is the often the first point of contact for prospective school families and as such the successful applicant would require the skills to develop strong relationships with parents and build these connections with families throughout the enrolment process.  A knowledge of Montessori education is highly desirable for a role such as this.

Organization of events and building community is also a key element of this role and as such this position requires the applicant to have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key elements of this role are:

  • Strong communication with parents and manage the enrolment process
  • Use of school database (PC School knowledge an advantage) to manage enrolment and other student data
  • Organization and running of School Tours
  • Coordination the development of school Marketing and promotions
  • Organization of School events and fund-raising
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with school families and community
  • Maintain the school’s presence on Social media and online

The role would ideally be a full-time position; however, the school is open to negotiation regarding this with the successful applicant.

The school is looking to commence this position in early April 2018

A valid Working With Children Check is required for this position.

Montessori Teacher 6-9 (Part-Time)

Your new School 

Located in Pymble Sydney, Northside Montessori school is a well-established and regarded Montessori School which caters for students from early childhood to Year 6. The school follows an authentic Montessori educational approach, centred on understanding and meeting the needs of the individual child. The school instils in children a love of learning, a sense of wonder and develops each individual child’s confidence and independent learning skills.

This Montessori Teacher position is located in the Primary School, working with children between 6-9 years of age.

Your new role 

This opportunity is for a dedicated Montessori teacher to join Northside Montessori School in the Primary section of the school. You will be the Directress/ Director of the 6-9 age group working collaboratively with two other experienced Directresses. Due to the school’s authentic Montessori approach, the primary has fantastic Montessori specific resources and spares no expense when it comes to the needs of the children and families.
Your salary for this position is based on the Independent School’s Multi-Enterprise Agreement and is reflective of experience.

What you’ll need to succeed 

  • BOSTES/ NESA Teachers Registration
  • AMI Diploma 6-9 Montessori qualification or working towards
  • Previous experience as Directress/ Director an advantage
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance
