Our School Support hours scheme is effective in increasing the involvement of our community in the life of the school. We consider this to be a very important aspect of Montessori life. The program provides many opportunities for families to make a difference and participate within our Northside Montessori community. There are flexible volunteering options for families to choose from and through this Program, our School taps into the wide skill sets within our community and acknowledges with equity the efforts of all families who contribute to different school events and services. Participation in the Support Hours Program sends a strong message to children about community service as well as the message that their parents think that the school is a special place where people feel they belong.
